Who doesn't like Vintage shops?

''He stood there with an old photograph of woman, in her early 20s, holding sunflowers... you could see his tears.. you could see his pain.. ''

Don't you love Vintage pieces? The stories behind each lamp, each piece of clothes or door? I am always intrigued how previous owners  get their ring or handbag, whether it was given in a romantic scenario or maybe that lamp was bought in rush with no emotions whatsoever? Who was riding that bike? Does the house still exist where the doors were taken?

Old pieces have a soul. They are beautiful and scary! I am passing this shop everyday. It's on my way to tram stop on Chester Road near Castlefield. I am stepping in quite often I just never bought anything. I absolutely adore the white anglepoise lamp they have there!
Today, step in with me into this stunning Insitu Vintage shop in Manchester. Enjoy the beautifully selected accessories and furniture with character! You can buy there nearly anything., doors, clothes, fireplaces lamps.. name it and they have it!It's a must place to visit for any interior designer!

  1. Forunately in Poland this retro/vintage/recykled/upcykled crazyness has its begining. Still You can find magic pieces. Hope it will last long. I'm a huge fan of old furniture and other stuff that not only looks great but has a story behind. Love it.

  2. Oh I agree! I want to one day design a back to PRL themed bar! Would be awesome! Poland has little treasures hidden in small shops! True that!

  8. Przepiękne przedmioty! Osobiście uwielbiam secondhandy i regularnie je odwiedzam.

I samemu wlasnie zrobic ciekawe DIY! Dziekuje za odwiedziny!
