When it comes to decorating difficult spaces, especially attic bedroom with low angled ceiling this can be with no doubt a huge challenge. Modern building these days have a simple minimalist and straight walls but older houses, still have funny shaped rooms. When I had to come up with an idea to use Command Hooks and strips (3M) for their style challenge and I chose my theme for a pink romantic bedroom with shabby chic/boho influences, I didn’t know I will face the challenge of the funny room shape. All of the items are hanged or attached to walls without using a single nail. No drills, no mess. Faf free, Literally!

Couple months ago, I was invited by Command Brand to style 2 spaces (second on the way!). I have chosen 2 rooms based on my very own style. (boring sod, am I?) Well, nothing can work out better than actually create something based on your very own knowledge (read mistakes I’ve learned on) but also the style you feel most comfortable with. It’s nice to get out of your comfort zone sometimes, but this time I wanted to stay true to myself and even used items you perhaps have seen on my Instagram before. I was invited along with some other fantastic Command Brand ambassadors and check them all Uni Room decorating the dedicated page.
My DIY macrame hangings (I will show you the diy tutorial soon) |
The bedroom I have styled for Command Brand, had one particular strong aim, to show you the endless possibility of their products. I have used the ‘endless’ word on a purpose because there is literally no limit! I am so much in love with the brand products, you probably know that by now as I love been on and on about them all the time on my blog because, in my very own rented space, this is the only way to hang pictures and small ornaments but also I wanted to show you other ways how you can use the product. And there are loads!
a little bit of detail here …
Endless possibilities with Command Brand products, Ceiling hooks (yes!), clear hooks and even wall clips. Quick and easy ideas for displaying products seasonally or to decorate student pad! |
Rip pages of books and add fresh or artificial flowers, hang woven hanging and add quirky lightings! |
Perhaps you may remember when I announced that I have become the official Command Brand Ambassador? No? Catch up here! ps. there is also a VIDEO coming but is still in the editing process so bear with me!
So now, let me tell you a little bit about the room. I have styled my chic pink romantic bedroom thanks to all Command Hooks and strips products. Not a single nail was used to hang any product. Perfect for renting, between moving or if you generally getting bored really quick and like to redecorate seasonally or if you want to decorate your rented accommodations.
I have used several products of Command Brand. My absolute favourite is the ceiling hooks that can rotate so perfect for Christmas, party or even hang fairly light faux plants (be aware that each product has a weight limit so check this before you hang your item!)
Another product I love is the clips which come in 2 colours: black and white. Absolutely amazing for a quick displays, posters and more. Command Hooks come in various sizes and I have used here several of these to hang different items. You can use pure white, or clear if you want to accent funky hanger like my copper one.
I really hope you enjoyed the styling, and I can’t wait to share the video with you tonight!!! ( yes, please come back later on, as my internet is fairly bad is coming!) and it’s awesome (includes all behind the scenes and before and after footage!)
