A note that is not about interiors…
This note is supposed to be about interiors and design but it won’t be! Instead I wanted to join the fight to raise awareness about Nigerian girls kidnapped from Chibok Government Girls Secondary School.
… It really makes me mad! I can’t believe that no one has done anything yet! I read in in newspapers; ‘’ The British government has also expressed concern over the fate of the missing students, and protests have erupted in major Nigerian cities and New York. –expressed concern? Really? Is that all you could do? USA? Hello! What is wrong with the world?? When it comes to oil, petrol and money a thousand soldiers are on their way to the country ‘’to fight for freedom’’ where is the freedom of these girls?? My heart is bleeding! I hope they will go back safe to their families and friends!

Update from BBC (7 May 2014 Last updated at 21:27) read here. ”The UK is to send a small team of experts to Nigeria to help over the abduction of more than 200 schoolgirls.” Ok, UK now I am giving you a big Yay!!
Also while touching the subject… One of my University briefs, was to choose something what we waste in life and use it to create structure. After careful research I have decided to do my project about ‘’wasted potential’’ which was about girls from different countries who are denied education. I think it’s a good time to look at it again! I’ll skip the book-structure part…..

We are wasting daily so many things in our lives: water, food or electricity. We don’t really think how lucky we are that we actually have access to it. When we are growing up, our parents carefully choose a school for us. Then we learn about many things from history to geography. People always ask who you want to be when you grow up. We always come up with silly ideas that we laugh at later on. When childhood is over, as early adults, we have to choose what we really want to do. If we are lucky we already know, if not we look for our place… but we always have a choice! Some people just don’t!
