Christmas! I already have started
preparing and planning my way!I know, a little early but I want to have
everything organised so when I have my guest at home, I am ready without
rushing and sweating ( gross I know). I like doing things this way, so I can
relax and enjoy my champagne and chocolates while chatting to my family and
friends!
have picked up the home catalogue first and marked all my favorite pieces! Debenhams
have made it so easy this year, adding super cute #foundit stickers! Forget the
tags or sticky notes. They have been defined with colours and you have a little
space for writing as well, so you can easily determine what you need from the
catalogue and mark all your home accessories along with husband/not husband yet
and all that! Smart! I have little sneak-peak of the catalogue for you, but
head toward the website to order yours today!
and ordered with super easy next day delivery to start my challenge. It was
really enjoyable and it really put me on a Christmas mode! I have played my Maria
Carey ‘’All I want for Christmas’’ song, driving my boyfriend crazy #sorrynotsorry
and singing along giving him the worst headache, (she smiled with that evil
eyes) !
Morphy Richards. I have chosen this because I do struggle with cooking! Well,
let’s say I just don’t have time for it. This will save me so much time, as all
I need to do is throw all my ingredients, set the temperature and have a fab
dish few hours later! Easy peasy! Next, I have chosen this snowflake tablecloth which is amazingly discounted at the moment (grab that bargain girl!)£20
Last year, I have bought a paper table cloth last minute from supermarket, that
lasted literally few minutes after my little monsters played hide and seek
including their sharp claws! Below is an example of how they get entertained by
table clothes! This one is amazing quality so hey ho, it will survive!

I was desperate
for good wine glasses as mine magically keep disappearing! I bet my not-husband
yet keep throwing them away instead of washing- lazy boy! I totally adore the
Panto etched one! So elegant! Only £19.80 for box of 6! Along with wine glasses
I needed to get myself proper flutes and I fell in love with these BettyJackson black graded ones! It works so well with the wine glasses ( and no one
can see that I keep topping up my flute) Winner! What Christmas table is
without candles or Christmas crackers? It’s a must! I have picked that cute reindeer candle with amazing Christmasy scent with
luxury Christmas Crackers! Once I have all my items I could start my challenge!
completely happy with it! I am as always skint and not much money left in the
budget so I have come up with few solutions I wanted to share with you.
Instead of buying expensive table decorations,
re-use your Christmas tree decorations! I always have tones left in a box, so I
actually picked these. Invest in good quality once so they will last years! Check Debenhams website as you can find there tones of great quality Xmas decorations that you can hang on your xmas tree but also use on your table! Winner!
Add some into your soup bowls or main plate. I
have added paper diamond shaped xmas tree decorations into my soup bowl, but easily
you can download origami template and make these yourself!
To save your table cloth use any small plate or
other candle holder. Once you start manoeuvring with food is very easy to knock
things down!
If you don’t have nice wine glasses you still can keep them. Just simply add some napkins inside! It will hide any scratches or decolourisations!
Alternatively, you can add some feathers! I totally loved my feathers! I think this was my favourite choice! As I could still see the beautiful etching, and add interest to my glasses.
Add your Christmas tree lighting on the table!
It will create really nice ambiance! Just opt for the battery operated ones,
for your and other people safety ( in this case my cats who would bite any
cable on their way)
Keep things simple! It’s very easy to overdue.
Once you put too much, where is the food going to go? Huh? Use the dishes you
would eventually place to your table and create yourself a ‘’layout’’. Did you
managed to squeeze everything? Great! Not? Take off some decorations or at
least prepare a space to quickly remove them. You don’t want to do that in
front of your guests.
Have a spare table seat for an unexpected guest!
You never know! In my country we have tradition that we always prepare a
special guest extra seat. Initially it is for a Jesus that will come in a form
of a homeless or so, and you shouldn’t turn anyone away on Xmas dinner. Be prepared
😉 You never know, if your guest may bring that person who is in need. You will
be the most amazing host if you already have that prepared and all you do is
just pass extra roast potatoes! Awesome!
Last. Turn off the light, switch off the TV (or
keep on xmas music) GET OFF THE PHONE! This is time to spend with family &
friends and you don’t want to ruin that or missed in important conversation!
Enjoy!

I really need some new wine glasses. I don't drink wine as a rule, but on special occasions, we can only ever find 1 or 2. These look so lush x
I love some of the stuff debenhams have in this year! We've just had one open in my home town too so I think I'll be doing most of my shopping there
