Our childhood memories from Christmas instantly evoke the main senses; hearing, taste and smell. It’s usually the first thing that we instantly recognise it’s Christmas when we can smell the Christmas tree, hear the songs or taste the gingerbread. Sometimes we wish we could be back this happy kid whose biggest worry was, what we can find under the Christmas tree. I have to admit, when I first opened the box with my new Lenco L-85 Turntable, I was clueless. I never had a turntable or record player in my life before and I didn’t know what to with it; how to switch it on, how to mak it sound! I texted few friends and they explained what I needed to do and I instantly rushed to get some speakers so I could fully enjoy my new gadget! It’s an item that we all should have at home. It’s kind of trendy to have a turntable at home these days isn’t it? I saw many bloggers and friends having record players and turntables and always wanted one too. Since I got mine, I wouldn’t be more proud, especially that I managed to make it work-me and technology…sigh!) You can purchase records in any charity shops from as little as £1.99 in Oxfam or perhaps you can browse those selected ones in music shops from only £5.99. I went to Northern Quarter and bought few for myself, and if you follow me on Instagram you perhaps seen in my stories how often I enjoy my turntable. Not only looks great, but also you can enjoy the modern sound with a retro style.

Lenco L-85 is not just a typical record player, it’s a turntable which means it offers longer playing time, it got improved audio replay as well. It’s a modern twist off on a traditional turntable and it offers direct MP3 Encoding, automatic split tracks and has integrated stereo pre-amplifier which means all you need to do is connect your turntable to speakers and voila! Let’s now talk a little about the design. I completely feel in love with this one. I was always in love with Turntables at the Urban Uutfitters shop windows. I have quite modern scandi look bedroom with black & white theme, wood with pink touches. Typical retro style player I think would look rather odd and Lenco L-85 Turntable it’s a perfect style for a home like mine. It comes in several colour options which means you can simply find your shade plus the clear cover, allow me to see the turntable and I can have this retro vibes in my modern space.
