Bolton

Located in Greater Manchester, Bolton’s regeneration is still in full force, with major developments set to finish in 2026. The project includes the building of new residential developments, a renovated Central Library, a new food hall, and a modernised flexible workspace.

Due to its proximity to Manchester, Bolton is popular among commuters. The Bolton Interchange project has made travel easier by providing the centre with a major infrastructure improvement: a new rail and bus interchange.

Leeds

Leeds is the fastest-growing city in the UK, and the economy is set to grow by 21% over the next 10 years. The city offers high-quality jobs in a range of industries, such as financial services, transportation, and retail.

Housing options in Leeds are affordable compared to other major cities. Reading

Reading has gone through a transformation over the last few years, with several developments currently in progress. The town is one of the best-connected places in the UK, with trains to London taking as little as 22 minutes.

The regeneration of the town is set to include 40,000 sq m of new commercial space, high-quality public spaces, and more than 600 new homes – 30% of which will be affordable. All of this will generate more local jobs once construction has finished and is set to boost the economy.

Hull

Hull hasn’t always had the best rap; however, the city has undergone a complete transformation over the last decade. In 2017, the city was crowned ‘UK City of Culture’, which led to many flocking to the area and millions being spent on city centre refurbishment.

Despite its growth, Kingston upon Hull remains one of the most affordable places in the country. Better yet, the city is on target to become carbon neutral by 2030 through tackling congestion problems and providing greener travel options.
